The working group established to investigate and make recommendations to remove barriers to the further development of agrivoltaic projects shall convene by this date. Agrivoltaic refers to the operation of a solar photovoltaic facility and agriculture on a single piece of land. The commission shall conduct not fewer than three public hearings throughout the commonwealth.

The 2022 Clean Energy & Climate Law calls for the appointment of a Clean Energy Transmission Working Group to provide a comprehensive cost analysis of major transmission infrastructure upgrades that may be needed to deliver clean energy generation procured pursuant to the laws of the commonwealth for the use of residents of the commonwealth and the region.

The Department of Energy Resources (DOER) in consultation with the Board of Building Regulation and Standards (BBRS) will develop a municipal opt-in specialized stretch energy code.
The Environmental Justice Council will perform a comprehensive analysis to ensure that: all people have involvement in the development of environmental laws, projects, and policies; there is an equitable distribution of environmental benefits; and there is proper information made available to environmental justice populations, with a variety of languages and distribution methods.
